The Miniature Armoured Fighting Vehicles Association is the longest running AFV enthusiasts group in the world, and is a nice cheerful and helpful organisation, membership includes six copies of 'TANKETTE' members newsletter per year. This web site is very well designed, easy to navigate and very helpful. Or come to the MAFVA Nationals competition and show, now held every year at the Imperial War Museum (Duxford) during Vehicle day and join there! MAFVA may be a small organisation, but no other society or model club in the world has a better venue for it's annual show. Every year we have a trade stand at this show. See you there!
The Missing Links web site is run by Brett Green (of Hyperscale fame!) and is one of the best discussion and newsgroup sites on the net. You may look at the postings but you must open a Network 54 account to be able to make a posting yourself. Discussions are polite and informative. Well worth a visit.

The Armor Modelling & Preservation Society is a US based enthusiasts group with an increasing international membership, and a very professional organisation too. Membership includes regular issues of 'BORESIGHT' members magazine. AMPS also run a very good annual competition which now showcases some of the best work to be seen anywhere in the world.
This is the very well organised and comprehensive site featuring the extensive work of the well known model writer Robin Buckland. Robins' Small Scale Scene feature which takes a regular look at the world of models, has been hosted by Military Modelling magazine for many years, and has always kept modellers up to date with all the news on releases from manufacturers' large (and more importantly) small! Show reports and other interesting features on aircraft and US Carriers may also feature from time to time!
