About our Prices and the application of Sales Tax

Accurate Armour Limited supplies products by mail order throughout the World; the physical location of the goods offered for sale on this site is our facility in Scotland. All goods are despatched from this location, and prices shown are 'Ex. Works' at this location.

'Ex. Works' means goods located in our storage facility.

Delivery of goods to a new location constitutes a contract for an additional service which is (or may be) chargeable. This service includes handling, administration, packaging delivery costs and insurance.

Customers can collect in person or arrange for carriers to collect goods from us using thier own arrangements. For Ex.Works (EC goods) there are no extra charges.

For Ex.Works Tax Free (Non EC goods) the collecting agent must be H.M. Customs and Excise approved and must provide us with the appropriate documentation prior to collection.

The prices advertised on this Site are for orders placed through our Site facility and are displayed with both Value Added Tax (VAT) added for sales within the EC, and excluding VAT for delivery to places outside the EC.

Prices on some items may differ from those listed in Accurate Armour Limited printed price lists. The prices shown on this site always take precedence over those shown on printed materials.

Our General Returns Policy

All Goods remain the property of Accurate Armour Limited until paid for in full. Goods may only be returned by prior arrangement at the recipients' expense. Delivery and insurance charges are non-refundable. Any returns later than 7 days ARO may be subject to a restocking fee of 10% which will be deducted from any refund. No returns will be accepted beyond 30 days ARO.(ARO= After reciept of order).

Claims for damaged/missing items should be made within seven days of receipt. These general terms are repeated on all invoices.

Any products purchased 'second hand' , (without proof of direct Accurate Armour Limited supply, or supply from an Accurate-Armour approved dealer, shop or agent), or any products part assembled or part worked on in any way, are not covered by this returns policy. Under these circumstances no returns will be accepted, however we may quote for the supply of parts to restore the product to full inventory.

Disclaimer of State Intervention

All goods exported to countries outside the EC are sent by us with complete and correct product descriptions and values contained within the export documentation appropriate to the export carrier, which will be approved by H.M. Customs and Excise.

It is the customers' responsibility to understand and comply with the legal and financial implications of 'Self-Importation' of commercial and valuable goods applied by the recipients' State.

Accurate Armour Limited is not liable for any local taxes, import duty, clearance fees, handling or storage charges.

Goods held by a State awaiting payments for taxes etc. are deemed to be 'delivered' within our obligations for mail order supply, and become the property of the customer, subject to State approval. Accurate Armour Limited will not accept ,without prior agreement, the return of goods where a customer has elected not to pay local taxes and charges. If these goods are declared 'abandoned' by agreement between the recipient State and the customer, and are destroyed, this will be at the customers expense.
