| The Staghound AA (T17E2) has a Frazer-Nash turret mounting twin Browning 0.50 Cal Heavy Machine Guns, and was designed as a convoy escort and Anti-Aircraft vehicle. 1,000 were produced and served in the AA troops of Armoured Car Regiments and Divisional and Regimental HQ units of the British and Commonwealth Armies.
Due to the Allied air superiority after D-Day many were converted to open top command cars.
This superbly detailed 1/35th scale model by Jon Bottomley comes complete with, full stowage, crew figure, optional fuel tank fit and tools. An etched brass fret with periscope guards, wing mirrors and other fine details is also included. Also available are kits K064 Staghound-I, and K066 Staghound-III. |
