This 1/35th scale resin and etched brass model kit by David Jane and Derek Hansen depicts one of the most well known British light ambulance vehicles of WW2.
The Humber FWD 8cwt 4x4 Light Ambulance body was produced by Thrupp & Mabely. A total of 1144 were supplied, and could carry 2-stretcher + 3-sitting (or 5-sitting) casualties. These vehicles were used throughout WW2 and early Post War.
The kit is complete with full interior, suspension and engine detail, optional seating/stretcher arrangements, etched brass detail set and comprehensive decals with many unit options. |
