A set of 1/35th scale Combat Identification Panels (CIP) for the British and US vehicles. In service the real panels have a special coating on one side which produces a Thermal 'cold' signature which is only visible through a thermal imager.
The panels are reversed for transport. Our set, designed by Rob Tearle, has separate holders and panels which can be slid inside to depict 'in use' or 'stowed' CIP's. A large selection of panels in the 4 most common sizes allow a number of vehicles to be depicted during the Operation Telic/Iraqi Freedom campaign. A specific set of CIP's for the Challenger-2 MBT is also available as A075. |
