A set of 1/35th scale Combat Identification Panels (CIP) for the Challenger-2 MBT. In service the real panels have a special coating on one side which produces a Thermal 'cold' signature which is only visible through a thermal imager. The panels are reversed for transport.
Our set, designed by Rob Tearle, has separate holders and panels which can be slid inside to depict 'in use' or 'stowed' CIP's. The turret front panels and special turret rear panels and mountings are also included. If fitting to the Trumpeter kit a pair of smoke discharger mountings are also included to correct the kit locations. A general set of CIP's for both British and US vehicles is also available as A076. |
