This 1/35th scale model by David Jane features a full chassis, engine sump, suspension, winch and drive shafts. The wheels are bulged to simulate the vehicle weight, and fine detail such as opening front screens, windshield wipers, tie down cleats, steps and drivers' mirrors are included.
The rear body roof panel is supported by rectangular supports (Matador never had tilt bars), There are two crew access options, and fully illustrated instructions. David has studied this vehicle (and drawn it at least once!) over many years. It is a favourite of ours, we hope you like it too. This kit contains an extensive decal set for the Royal Artillery which includes a selection of Formation, AoS markings and battery markings for Medium Regiments RA, and for units with either Artillery or HAA weapons, during WW-II from the Western Desert and post war. Vehicle registrations, Air recognition, D-Day movement, names etc are also included. This version has the distinctive pressed steel (early) production cab style, with etched gas detection panel, and optional early/late (single) air tanks.
Two late cab versions are also available as (K115), and with hip ring (K116). The standard towed load was the 3.7" HAA Gun (G002) or 4.5" or 5.5" Medium Guns (see below)
